Club information and guidelines
Classes are held Mondays and Tuesdays depending on skill level or convenience.
Class fee is £5.00 per class with an annual membership fee of £6.00 for single person or couples.
Junior members (below 16 years old) pay an annual membership of £3.00 and class participation is £2.00.
Annual membership fee is due in January for everyone. If you join late in the year check with Linda Lane regarding renewal.
All new members will begin classes in the 'New Starters, Puppies' and will move up to other classes as obedience training progresses.
To join a class just turn up on the night for the Puppy and Beginners Class at 18:00. You could call Celia Vines first (see 'Home'/'Contact Us' for telephone number) just to let her know that you want to join the club, and let her know you found it through the website.
During classes extra Rosette awards may be given when standards are reached for 'Stay', 'Send Away', 'Recall' and other exercises.
Stonehouse DTC runs the Kennel Club Good Citizen Dog Scheme and members are encouraged to participate in to the programme. We train to all stages of Bronze, Silver and Gold awards and other training clubs use SDTC for the examinations. External judges are used to evaluate during the testing of the awards. Information about the standards required can be found at the Kennel Club link ont the 'Useful Links' page.

A Selection of Class Photographs;
From Mid October 2021.
Celia, Kim and Mike's various categories of classes have been back into full swing for a few weeks now and everyone is glad to be getting back to normal, almost.
Still some 'Covid' precautions in place but the dogs are obviously enjoying it as much as the handlers, if not more.
Thanks to Club Secretary, Linda Lane, for passing these photos on for the website.
